WHO WILL BE THE TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL OF THE YEAR?

Mike’s Kids Education Foundation has partnered with the Madison County Schools Technology Department to provide a technology grant each year to the district’s Technology School of the Year for the secondary schools winner and the elementary schools winner.

Literacy Grants

LEARNING IS IN FULL BLOOM IN MADISON CLASSROOMS

One of MKEF's most anticipated programs is the annual distribution of a minimum of 18 $500 grants to teachers who bring innovative approaches to literacy into the classroom.

Scholarships

PROGRAM GROWS STUDENT POTENTIAL

Each year, Mike's Kids Education Foundation awards two $1,000 scholarships to seniors at Madison Central and Madison Southern high schools.

Mike's Kid Chelsea Sparks

Meet Chelsea Sparks, a 2010 recipient of the Mike's Kids Education Foundation Scholarship. Chelsea, who graduated from Madison Southern High School, is studying arts administration and music at the University of Kentucky with minors in business and music performance. She recently returned from a five-month semester exchange in Jyväskylä, Finland, an opportunity made available by UK's arts administration program.

Mike Caudill

He was respectful, caring, motivated and had a wonderful sense of humor. He believed every student had the ability to succeed if they were given the right tools. Above all, he was a leader. And during his career as a teacher and administrator for Madison County Schools, Mike Caudill's motivation was making sure those students were served.
